PePePe B.V. cares deeply about your privacy. Therefore, we exclusively process data that we need for (improving) our services and handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services with care. We will never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.

This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services provided by PePePe B.V. The effective date for the validity of these terms is 12/02/2020; the publication of a new version will invalidate all previous versions. This privacy policy describes what data about you is collected by us, what this data is used for, and with whom and under what conditions this data may be shared with third parties. We also explain how we store your data and how we protect your data against misuse, and what rights you have regarding the personal data you provide to us.

E-commerce software

WordPress / WooCommerce

Our online store was developed with WordPress/WooCommerce software. Personal data that you provide to us for the purpose of our services will be shared with this party. MyOnlineStore has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support, and they will never use your data for any other purpose. Based on the agreement we have concluded with them, WordPress/WooCommerce is obligated to take appropriate security measures. WordPress/WooCommerce uses cookies to collect technical information regarding your use of the software; no personal data is collected and/or stored.

Web hosting

Vimexx

We use Vimexx for web hosting and email services. Vimexx processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party may collect metadata regarding the use of the services. This metadata does not constitute personal data. Vimexx has implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent the loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. Vimexx is bound by a confidentiality agreement.

Vimexx

We use Vimexx's services for our regular business email traffic. This party has

appropriate technical and organizational measures taken to prevent misuse, loss, and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Vimexx has no access to our mailbox and we treat all our email traffic confidentially.

Payment processors

Pay.nl

For processing (part of) the payments in our webshop, we use the

Payment service provider Pay.nl. Pay.nl processes your name, address, and city of residence, as well as your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. Pay.nl has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Pay.nl reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and, in that context, to share (anonymized) data with third parties.

We collect reviews through the WebwinkelKeur platform. If you leave a review through WebwinkelKeur, you are required to provide a name and email address. WebwinkelKeur shares this data with us so that we can link the review to your order. WebwinkelKeur also publishes your name on its own website. In some cases, WebwinkelKeur may contact you to provide an explanation of your review. If we invite you to leave a review, we will share your name and email address with

WebwinkelKeur. They use this data solely for the purpose of inviting you to leave a review. WebwinkelKeur has implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Shipping and Logistics

PostNL

When you place an order with us, it is our responsibility to deliver your package to you. We use the services of PostNL to carry out deliveries. For this purpose, it is necessary to share your name, address, and city details with PostNL. PostNL will only use this data for the purpose of fulfilling the agreement. In the event that PostNL engages subcontractors, PostNL will also make your details available to these parties.

DHL

When you place an order with us, it is our responsibility to have your package delivered to you. We use DHL’s services to carry out these deliveries. To do so, we must share your name, address, and city of residence with DHL. DHL uses this information solely for the purpose of fulfilling the agreement. In the event that DHL engages subcontractors, DHL will also make your information available to these parties.

GLS

When you place an order with us, it is our responsibility to deliver your package to you. We use the services of GLS for deliveries. For this purpose, it is necessary that we share your name, address, and city details with GLS. GLS uses this data solely for the purpose of executing the agreement. In the event that GLS engages subcontractors, GLS will also make your data available to these parties.

UPS

When you place an order with us, it is our responsibility to deliver your package to you. We use the services of [PROVIDER] to carry out deliveries. For this purpose, it is necessary for us to share your name, address, and city information with UPS. UPS will only use this data for the purpose of fulfilling the agreement. In case UPS engages subcontractors, UPS will also make your data available to these parties.

Invoicing and accounting

WordPress / WooCommerce

For tracking our administration and accounting, we use the services of WordPress / WooCommerce. We share your name, address, and city of residence details, as well as order specifics. This information is used for administering sales invoices. Your personal data is sent and stored securely. WordPress / WooCommerce is obligated to confidentiality and will handle your data with discretion. WordPress / WooCommerce will not use your personal data for purposes other than those described above.

Purpose of Data Processing

General purpose of processing

We use your data exclusively for the purpose of providing our services. This means that the purpose of processing is always directly related to the order you provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share data with us and we use this data to contact you at a later time – other than at your request – we will explicitly ask for your permission. Your data will not be shared with third parties, except to fulfill accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound to secrecy by virtue of the agreement between them and us, or by an oath or legal obligation.

Automatically Collected Data

Data that is automatically collected by our website is processed for the purpose of further improving our services. This data (e.g., your IP address, web browser, and operating system) is not personal data.

Cooperation in fiscal and criminal investigations

When applicable, PePePe B.V. may be legally obligated to share your data in connection with tax or criminal investigations by government authorities. In such cases, we will be compelled to share your data, but we will oppose this to the extent permitted by law.

Retention periods

We retain your data as long as you are a client of ours. This means we will keep your client profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you inform us of this, we will also interpret it as a deletion request. Due to applicable administrative obligations, we are required to retain invoices containing your (personal) data for as long as the applicable period lasts. However, employees will no longer have access to your client profile and documents that we have created in connection with your assignment.

Your rights

Under current Dutch and European legislation, you, as a data subject, have certain rights regarding the personal data processed by or on behalf of us. We will explain these rights to you below and how you can exercise them. In principle, to prevent misuse, we will only send copies and duplicates of your data to the email address already known to us. If you wish to receive the data at a different email address or, for example, by post, we will ask you to identify yourself. We maintain a record of handled requests; in the case of a deletion request, we record anonymized data. You will receive all copies and duplicates of data in the machine-readable data format used within our systems. You have the right at all times to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) if you suspect that we are using your personal data incorrectly.

Right of inheritance

You always have the right to access the data that we process (or have processed) that relates to you or can be traced back to you. You can submit a request to this effect to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a copy of all data to the email address we have on file for you, along with an overview of the processors who hold this data, stating the category under which we have stored this data.

Right of rectification

You always have the right to have the data that we process (or have processed) concerning you, or that is traceable to you, amended. You can submit a request to this effect to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation at the email address known to us that the data has been amended.

Right to restriction of processing

You always have the right to restrict the processing of data concerning you or that can be traced back to you. You can submit a request to this effect to our privacy contact person. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation to the email address we have on file stating that the data will no longer be processed until you lift the restriction.

Right to transferability

You always have the right to have the data that we process (or have processed) relating to you or that can be traced back to you, transferred to another party. You can submit a request with this intent to our contact person for privacy matters. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you copies of all data about you that we have processed or that have been processed by other processors or third parties on our behalf, to the email address known to us. In all likelihood, we will no longer be able to continue providing the service in such a case, as the secure linking of data files can no longer be guaranteed.

Right of objection and other rights

In certain cases, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of PePePe B.V.. If you object, we will immediately cease data processing pending the resolution of your objection. If your objection is well-founded, we will make copies and/or duplicates of data that we process (or have processed) available to you and then permanently cease processing. Furthermore, you have the right not to be subject to automated individual decision-making or profiling. We do not process your data in a way that makes this right applicable. Cookies

Google Analytics

Via our website, cookies are placed by the American company Google, as part of the “Analytics” service.

We use this service to track and receive reports on how visitors use the website. This processor may be required by applicable laws and regulations to provide access to these data. We collect information about your browsing behavior and share this data with Google. Google may interpret this information in conjunction with other datasets and thus track your movements on the internet. Google uses this information to offer, among other things, targeted advertising (Adwords) and other Google services and products.

We reserve the right to change our privacy policy at any time. However, you will always find the most recent version on this page. If the new privacy policy affects how we process data we have already collected about you, we will notify you by email.
