Step 1

Wash your hands thoroughly and clean the outside of the grow kit with a dry cloth. Remove the lid and set it aside for step 2.

Step 2

Fill the growkit to the brim with lukewarm water (20ºC), replace the lid on the growkit, and let the growkit soak for 5 minutes. Important: Never soak the growkit for longer than 1 hour.

Step 3

Remove the lid from the growkit and drain the water thoroughly. Let the growkit drain for 10 seconds.

Step 4

Place the growkit in the grow bag and fill the grow bag with one cup, 200 to 250ml, of lukewarm water (20ºC). Then fold the top of the bag and seal it with the 2 paper clips.

Step 5

Place the grow kit in a room between 20-25 degrees Celsius. Ensure that the grow kit is not in direct sunlight, is not under a lamp, and is not near a heater/heat source. Important: the bag must remain closed until the pinheads have formed. At this stage, the CO2 levels and humidity should be as high as possible.

Step 6

When the first pinheads* are visible, air out the grow bag for a few minutes daily and then moisten the grow kit with a spray bottle. * Pinheads are the first visible formations of the mushrooms. It can take 10 to 20 days for the first pinheads to become visible.

Step 7

The mushrooms can be harvested just before the gills on the underside of the cap begin to separate. When harvesting, gently grasp the stem and twist it left/right. Once the mushroom is loose, pull it out as completely as possible. Important: The mushroom must be completely removed so that there is room for a new one.

Step 8

Congratulations, the harvest is complete. It is now possible to create a new harvest by repeating steps 4 through 7.

Tip 1

Ensure your grow kit is always moist. It is also important that the grow kit does not dry out between steps 5 and 6. In this case, you may open the bag and moisten the grow kit thoroughly.

Tip 2

Treat your grow kit with care; this increases the chance of a better yield during an extra flush.

Tip 3

Are you unsure when to pick? Picking early is better than picking late.

Tip 4

A temperature that is too cold can result in a non-functioning grow kit. Ensure the temperature never drops below 20 degrees Celsius (68 degrees Fahrenheit). Therefore, pay close attention to this, even in the evening.

Below you will find the instructions for the Hawaiian Copelandia Growkit. This Growkit requires extra attention, please read the instructions carefully.

Hawaiian-GrowKit instructions NL front

Step 1

Open the box and take out the contents: The growkit, The cultivation bag, Two trays of soil, and one paperclip.

Step 2

Wash your hands well with soap and take the lid off the kit. Spread the trays of soil evenly over the kit.

Step 3

Spray the top layer of the kit, making sure it is very moist. Also spray the inside of the bag. Ensure there is enough oxygen in the bag and place the kit inside. Then seal the bag with the paperclip.

Step 4

Ensure you mist the kit daily and provide fresh oxygen (squeeze the bag to let out old oxygen and let fresh oxygen in). It is very important at this stage to keep the top layer moist.

Step 5

Mushrooms form after 6 to 11 days. At this point, remove the grow kit from the grow bag and spray only the inside of the bag, then refresh the oxygen. Place the kit back into the grow bag. (Hawaiian mushrooms do not like direct contact with water).

Step 6

5-7 days after the mushrooms start to grow, they are ready to be picked. Pick them the moment the first caps open. Try to do this just before the first black spores fall, but if spores have already fallen, it won't hurt. Wash your hands before picking and gently pull the mushrooms out of the substrate.

Step 7

After this, you can start with a new harvest. To do this, you begin again at step 3 and repeat the entire cycle. The most important thing is to keep the grow kit moist and ensure that the kit receives fresh air daily. Remember that Copelandia is a much more sensitive product than all other magic mushroom grow kits on the market.
