Baby Hawaiian Woodrose

About Baby Hawaiian Woodrose

Unlike ololiuqui and the common morning glory, which have a long history of ritual use in Latin America, this species did not receive wider attention until the 1960s.

What is Baby Hawaiian Woodrose?

The effects vary greatly from person to person. Possible experiences include an elevated mood, changes in vision and hearing, more intense emotions, sensory blending, and an altered sense of time and space. The main experience can last 4 to 8 hours, with a gentler aftereffect that can persist for many more hours. This product is not a medication.

Origin and Background

Argyreia nervosa is native to the Indian subcontinent and later became widespread in Hawaii and other tropical gardens, which is where it gets its well-known English name. For a long time, the plant was primarily considered an ornamental climber. Related plants such as Rivea corymbosa and Ipomoea purpurea already played a ceremonial role in Mesoamerica.

Starting in the 1960s, the species began to appear in ethnobotanical notes and lists of counterculture plants, as its seeds were described as being particularly potent within the family. There is therefore no long-standing, public ritual tradition associated with this plant. These are seeds with a serious reputation that should not be taken lightly.

Ingredients

Only Argyreia nervosa seeds. The package contains 10 seeds and nothing else: no flavorings and no other plants. The potency can vary from seed to seed and from harvest to harvest, which is another reason to stick to 2 to 3 seeds.
