Damiana 10X Extract

About Damiana 10X Extract

Damiana 10X Extract is a concentrated extract of the leaves of Turnera diffusa, an herb traditionally used in Mexico. The package contains 20 grams.

What is Damiana 10X Extract?

The plant has serrated leaves and small yellow flowers with a sweet, herbal scent. The effects vary from person to person. Possible experiences include mild relaxation, an uplifted mood, mild stimulation, and a general sense of well-being. The effects are often noticeable after 30 to 60 minutes. This product is not a medicine and is not a substitute for medical care.

Origin and Background

Turnera diffusa grows in dry, warm regions from northern Mexico through Central America, parts of South America, and the Caribbean. Indigenous communities have long used its leaves as a home-brewed tea and a social herb, even before it became available in European stores. Spanish colonial writers and later Mexican herbal texts described the plant as an herb for calm, mood, and vitality.

In the nineteenth century, dried damiana leaves became available in pharmacies in North America and Europe, often as tea or a tonic. A 10x extract is a more concentrated form of that same leaf.

Ingredients

Only Turnera diffusa, concentrated as a 10x herbal extract. The 20-gram package contains nothing else: no added flavorings and no filler herbs. The aroma and potency may vary slightly from harvest to harvest, so start with a small amount.

Side Effects and Storage

Possible side effects include headaches, dizziness, nausea, or mild drowsiness. Higher doses may cause restlessness or stomach upset. Store the package in a cool, dark place.
