The original Spaanse vlieg liefdesdruppels is the brand's classic. Passion Intenso is the version for those looking for a little more intensity. The cola and strawberry varieties have a subtle flavor, so they blend well into a soft drink or cocktail. The "extra" variety is the strongest in the line.
According to the manufacturer, all versions are intended for both partners.
Add the number of drops indicated on the package to a glass of juice, soda, or wine. Stir briefly and drink it slowly. Do not take more than the recommended amount. Do not combine it with large amounts of alcohol, and do not drive after use.
The name Spanish Fly refers to an old story about a beetle that was used as an aphrodisiac. That beetle was actually dangerous. The modern drops have nothing to do with that. They contain no insects and are made with ingredients that are legal in the Netherlands. The name has been kept because it is so well known.
Many couples use the drops as part of a special evening—think a dinner at home, candlelight, and a glass of wine. The drops mix easily into a drink. The cola and strawberry varieties have a sweet taste. The original drops are neutral and go well with any drink. It’s the element of play and the anticipation that make it exciting.
If this is your first time using it, start with the original drops or the cola flavor. Passion Intenso and Extra are for those who already have experience. Always read the package insert and follow the dosage instructions on the bottle.
Store the bottle at room temperature and out of direct sunlight. Close the cap tightly after use. Keep the drops out of the reach of children. Everyone reacts differently, so don’t expect guaranteed results. Talk to your partner about what you both want, because good communication is just as important as any product. Make it a special moment together. Put on some music, put your phone away, and take time for each other. A drop in a drink is a nice little extra.
Your drops will be shipped without any brand name or image on the outside. So no one will know what you ordered.
