Cutting Bridgesii 10 – 11.5 inches

About Cutting Bridges II

When cut into pieces, it is used for propagation or ceremonial doses, inducing visionary states, emotional clarity, and a deep connection with the self and nature. It is an essential tool for conscious inner work and facilitates deep transformation in both traditional and modern healing practices.

History of Cutting Bridgesii

The Cutting Bridgesii cactus is native to the high-altitude regions of Bolivia and has been revered by indigenous Andean peoples for centuries. Shamans used it in sacred ceremonies for spiritual guidance, healing, and contact with the spirit world. Like San Pedro and Peyote, it is known for its intense, visionary effects. The name is derived from botanist Thomas Bridges, and the cactus has gained worldwide recognition within plant medicine circles for its clear, transformative power. As a “master teacher,” it helps release emotional blockages and bridges ancient wisdom with modern spiritual exploration.

Ingredients of Cutting Bridges II

The main active ingredient in Cutting Bridgesii is mescaline, a psychedelic alkaloid that affects serotonin receptors and causes altered perception, heightened emotions, and spiritual awareness. This cactus contains more mescaline than others Trichocereus-species, making it exceptionally well-suited for ceremonial uses. Less common alkaloids such as anhalonidine and tyramine enhance its effects. The cactus consists of fibrous, water-rich tissue with a ribbed, waxy skin. The alkaloid-rich core provides spiritual and healing effects, leading the plant to be regarded as a sacred ally in personal growth and the expansion of consciousness.

Warning

Do not use Cutting Bridgesii if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, under 18 years of age, or suffer from mental health conditions, heart problems, or blood pressure disorders. Avoid combining it with alcohol, medications, or other psychoactive substances. Use only in a safe, quiet environment and under the supervision of a sober trip sitter. Do not operate vehicles or machinery while under the influence. Treat this cactus as a sacred medicine, not as a recreational drug.
