Can magic truffles expire?

Yes, every truffle has an expiration date. Store your Magic Truffles upon receipt in the refrigerator to keep them fresh for as long as possible. We do not recommend consuming truffles that are past their expiration date, even though they are always vacuum-sealed.

Can magic truffles be frozen?

Due to the fragile nature of the truffle, we advise against freezing truffles. The effects will diminish or disappear completely. It is also difficult to impossible to check frozen Magic Truffles or Magic Truffles that have been frozen for freshness or quality. This remains an important measuring point when it comes to the quality of Magic Truffles. The same advice also applies to Mushrooms, never put these in the freezer.

Quality Magic Truffles Check

You can always do a test to see if the Magic Truffles are still good. First, take them out of the packaging and place them in the box or a small dish. Check if the Magic Truffles look fresh and smell them. If they smell nutty with a slight sour hint, they are good.

It is also possible by feeling the magic truffles. The magic truffles should feel a bit firm and offer resistance when you press them. If you feel like you can almost squeeze them or if you can squeeze them easily, they are probably no longer good.
