The thin line on top of each rolling paper that will make your papers stick together when licked (wetted) is usually made of gum arabic. Most high-quality papers use sugar-based gum, which is known to be quite safe to smoke. Other very popular types of rolling paper may be made from acacia tree resins. 

Blunts are a special kind of rolling paper used to roll your weed and make it feel and look like a cigar. Most blunt wraps are made of tobacco, which allows your cannabis to burn more easily and slowly.

Depending on the region, spliffs can mean a couple of things. In most cases, a spliff is a type of joint, usually containing cannabis mixed with tobacco. Spliff can also refer to a smaller version of a joint, which you smoke by yourself.

A tip is a small filter in your blunt/spliff/joint. They may also be referred to as a tippy, smoke tip, crutch, or simply – filter tip.

The easiest way to make a tip is to simply roll a small piece of cardboard into a cylinder. This way, the tip ensures you don't burn your fingers on the last puffs of smoke, nothing more.
