What is EZ-test in relation to ecstasy?

This compact test kit was developed to check for the presence of ecstasy-like drugs. Each kit contains one glass ampoule with a chemical reagent (often based on Marquis reagent) embedded in silica gel. When a small sample is added, specific color changes occur that you compare to the included color chart. History of the Test

The EZ-test form of ecstasy emerged in the late 1990s and early 2000s, when concerns about adulterated XTC pills were growing within the rave and club culture. MDMA was discovered in 1912, but its recreational popularity in the 1980s and 1990s brought the problem of adulteration to light. EZ-Test introduced one of the first consumer-accessible ecstasy tests, based on forensic methods and refined with the help of organizations such as DanceSafe. Over the years, the test has been expanded to include broader detection capabilities and clear color charts.

How do you use the EZ-test for ecstasy?

1. Scrape off a small amount of the pill or take a small amount of powder.
2. Carefully break open the glass ampoule (without using force).
3. Place the sample in the vial, close it with the cap, and shake well.
4. Observe the color change within a few minutes and compare it to the included color chart (for example, purple for MDMA).

Composition
