What are Thais?<\/h2>\n

Thai (Psilocybe cubensis) is a tropical, fast-growing cubensis variety with medium to large mushrooms, sturdy stems, and light yellow to orange-brown or brown-red caps. This strain is known for its rapid colonization, high yield, and forgiving nature, making it ideal for beginners.<\/p>\n

The effects are energetic, sociable, euphoric, and visual, with a mild philosophical undertone. Less intense than stronger strains, but with enough depth for a fun, relaxing experience. A 1200 cc kit yields an average of 300\u2013500 grams of fresh psilocybin mushrooms over 2\u20133 flushes at 20\u201325 \u00b0C. Store the kit in a cool place (2\u20134 \u00b0C) until use for optimal shelf life (up to approximately 6 months).<\/p>\n

History of Thai<\/h2>\n

The Thai strain originates from the tropical regions of Thailand, including islands such as Koh Samui. Ethnomycologist John Allen documented local varieties in the 1990s. In Thailand, similar magic mushrooms have long been associated with festive and social gatherings, including the famous Full Moon Parties.<\/p>\n

Thanks to its rapid growth, high yield, and uplifting, social effects, this strain quickly gained popularity among growers worldwide. Modern ready-to-grow kits make it easy to grow these tropical genetics at home, while preserving their characteristic energetic and festive qualities.<\/p>\n

How do you use Thai?<\/h2>\n

Growing is simple and very beginner-friendly. Wash your hands thoroughly, clean the outside of the kit, and fill it with lukewarm water (20 \u00b0C). Let it soak for up to 5 minutes (never longer than 1 hour). Drain thoroughly, place the kit in the growing bag, add 200\u2013250 ml of lukewarm water, and seal with the paper clips.<\/p>\n

Place the bag in a location with a temperature of 20\u201325 \u00b0C, out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources. Keep the bag closed until the first pinheads appear (often within 10\u201314 days). After that, ventilate daily and lightly mist. Harvest just before the veil under the cap breaks by gently twisting the mushroom and pulling it out completely. Repeat the process for subsequent flushes.<\/p>\n
