As a result, tobacco prices in the Netherlands have largely remained the same as the levels after the 2024 increase, with only minor adjustments for inflation and small modifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Current Tobacco Prices (Average, including VAT)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Pack of cigarettes (20 pieces):<\/strong> \u20ac11.10 \u2013 \u20ac12.00 (average around \u20ac11.50)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Shag tobacco (50 grams):<\/strong> \u20ac24.62 - \u20ac28.00 (average around \u20ac25.50)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cigars\/cigarillos:<\/strong> Excise tax increased to 11% of the retail price (prices vary widely by brand)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These prices are weighted averages. Brands like Marlboro, Camel, or Van Nelle may be slightly more or less expensive depending on the store (gas station, supermarket, or tobacco shop).
